  • Job Description: The Cardiology Nurse is responsible for managing the care of the adult or geriatric patient experiencing acute, chronic, and/or terminal cardiovascular diseases, comorbid medical conditions, and associated procedures. The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications and monitor patient response, monitor and interpret telemetry, and provide patients and families with support and education.

    • 2 years experience in specialty
    • Previous travel experience preferred
    • Strong background in cardiac telemetry required
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: 3x12 hour shifts - DAYS, 7a-7p
      • Weekends and holidays as needed
      • No Blocked Scheduling
        • Unit Specific Information
        • RN may also be assigned to work med/surg COVID area, if needed
          • Additional Details

          • Must live at least 100 miles away from the facility to which they are applying
          • If previously employed by CoxHealth, must have been gone for at least 2 years
