Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab.
Position Information: Variable shift (0800-1630 Monday- Friday)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.
Job Requirements
Required Certifications: Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated, or hospital trained.
Arkansas License, ACLS, BLS.
Years of Experience: 2+ years.
Must Have Skills/Experience: 2-3 years of Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab.
Schedule Information
Shift: Variable (0800-1630 Monday- Friday).
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.

Unit Information: Not Applicable.
Dress Code: Scrub Color - Black.
Additional Details
Responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards.
Instructs and prepares patients for radiographic and/or fluoroscopic examinations.
Assesses patients understanding of process and informed consent of invasive procedures.
Directs and assists in maintenance and handling of special equipment, monitors and instruments.
Assists in maintaining basic records and reports.
Has knowledge of hospital policies and the functions of other departments.
Maintains sterile technique when appropriate.
Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures.
