  • Job Details
  • Responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards of electric shock, burns and extraneous radiation to patients.
  • Instructs and prepares patients for radiographic and/or fluoroscopic examinations.
  • Assesses patients understanding of process and informed consent of invasive procedures.
  • Demonstrates the ability to assess cardiorespiratory systems for changes in pediatric to geriatric patients and is able to treat appropriately.
  • Directs and assists in maintenance and handling of special equipment, monitors and instruments.
  • Assists in maintaining basic records and reports.
  • Has knowledge of hospital policies and the functions of other departments.
  • Maintains sterile technique when appropriate.
  • Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures.
    • Job Requirements
    • Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated, or hospital trained.
    • Arkansas License.
    • 2+ years experience.
    • 2-3 years of Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

      • Shift: Variable (0800-1630 Monday- Friday) **Subject to change.
      • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.
